DOES MICROPIGMENTATION HURT?
Clients claim that micropigmentation doesn’t exactly hurt, but they do admit it can be a bit uncomfortable. The degree of discomfort you feel depends on the type of scarring. Nerve endings in scar tissue are often destroyed or damaged, which reduces the pain. Topical anesthetics can be used on certain types of scars, which numb the treated area to ensure minimal discomfort.
HOW WILL I LOOK LIKE IMMEDIATELY AFTER PROCEDURE?
The healing process after a scar micropigmentation session is quick and easy. There is little to no downtime for this procedure as most often it can be covered with clothing. Clients can go back to work or fly back home. The treated area will look red and raised, this will resume after a few days. You will be sent home with directions on how to treat the area for proper healing and ultimate results. Its recommended to come to your appointment with soft fabric and loose clothing.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT LAST?
The length of the micropigmentation session is impossible to predict precisely. It depends on the size of the scar, the surface that needs to be treated, but also on the quality of the tissue. Scar tissue is less flexible, so it takes more time and effort to work with. Generally, artists work in 1-hour sessions, and several sessions are required to achieve the best possible results.
CAN STRETCH MARK MICROPIGMENTATION REMOVE MY STRETCH MARKS?
To this day, there is nothing available on the marker that can completely remove stretch marks, unless in some cases when the skin is removed by surgery. Stretch mark micro pigmentation can address color and texture, making them less visible.
STRETCH MARK MICROPIGMENATION VS. LASER TREATMENTS
Laser treatments work on stretch marks by damaging the skin's outer layer and forcing it to heal itself, although they might improve the texture, they do not address the color contrast. Stretch mark tattoo camouflage does both, it improves the texture and correct the color contrast by restoring the color back into the skin.
CAN I GET TREATMENT WHILE PREGNANT OR BREAST-FEEDING?
Our highest priority is the safety of you and your baby. Unfortunately, no we are not able to create you while pregnant or breast-feeding. We look forward to treating you once you are no longer breast-feeding or pregnant.
CAN I GET THE TREATMENT DONE IF MY SKIN IS TANNED?

WHAT WILL HAPPENED IF I SUN TAN ?
Untreated scars or stretch marks are more visible between tan skin and the missing pigment from scarred tissue. Stretch mark camouflage diminishes this contrast. We always ask for not to sun tan treated area for at least the first 90 days. For best long term results wear the highest SPF protection to the area treated prior to sun exposure.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM MY PROCEDURE?
There are many variables for instant results, such as age, skin texture, stretch mark depth, general health, overtone, sun exposure, etc. On average it takes 60 days. If you suffer from hyperpigmentation it might take up to 90 or more days to fully heal. During the 3rd week, the treated area will slightly get dark. DO NOT PANIC! It is still healing. Once this has subsided, you will begin to see the results of your treatment.
HOW LONG DOES THE RESULTS LAST?
Many factors play on the longevity of results, such as a person's immune system, sun exposure, products used on the skin and adhering to the aftercare during the healing process. On average results can last 5-7 years. A touch-up might be needed. We cannot predict how your skin will deal with the ink and how quickly it will fade, so we can only advise on averages. Please keep in mind that the needling process improves the appearance of stretch marks, regardless if the ink fades. They should appear better than they were initially before treatment.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SCAR CAMOUFLAGE?
The physical benefits are obvious; scar micropigmentation can minimize scars, discoloration, burns, stretchmarks, as well as minimize breast scarring after mastectomy. But perhaps the most important change that comes with getting the treatment is psychological. Camouflaging an imperfection can mean liberation, give you a confidence boost, eliminate a source of stress, discomfort, and contribute to the quality of your life in general.
